Sweet Seaside Outer Banks Wedding

This September wedding was held at Twiddy's home Rendevous.  Event homes are a great way to enjoy a week at the beach surrounded by those you love, and have a venue all in one. This 9 bedroom home has a large pool deck and yard, which can be rare for an ocean front home, making this a perfect event home. We held the ceremony on the beach in front of the home, and the reception was held in the back yard/pool deck of the home. I Do OBX Chairs provided the ceremony set up and even raked the beach for a polished look.  Complete with farm tables (that seem to fit perfectly in this space), Renee Landry Events decorated with pink peonies matching the bouquets, gold candlesticks, and glitter vases with sweet roses. This wedding was just as sweet as the beautiful couple, they were smiling ear to ear all day! So glad I could be a part of their planning process and guide this beautiful bride down the isle

Jennette's Pier Beach Wedding

 

Bride and Groom Jessica and David had a sweet beach wedding at Jennette's Pier last year.  

Of course Chef Wes Stepp and his catering team at Red Sky Cafe prepared a fabulous meal, and the cake by Just Desserts topped it off. A beach ceremony was followed by the reception in the Pier, and Jessica and David got an awesome sunset pic out on the pier thanks to their great photographer Rich Coleman from Coleman Shots. Fan favorite: The place settings held up by coffee beans and unique table arrangements in terrariums by Holiday House!

We are SO excited to share what we received in the mail yesterday! :

We cannot be more thrilled to receive The Knot "Best of Weddings" Hall of Fame award. Since this type of award is voted on by our past brides and newlyweds, it means more to us than any other type of recognition.

OBX Wedding at the Grande Ritz Palm: Dana & Craig

Dana & Craig live in Reston, VA and had their destination wedding here on the Outer Banks, bringing their family and friends down for a wonderful week. These two were so sweet together and have an amazing story- knowing each other since High School! Dana and Craig were great to work with- not to mention they are the most photogenic couple ever!  We love these romantic photos by Ashley Peterson Photography, and she gave us by far one of the best sunset pictures we've seen at the Grande Ritz Palm.
